Marmon Mok Architecture is excited to announce the following promotions: Mary Bartlett and Briant Harkiewicz were promoted from Associate Partner to Partner. Angel Garcia was promoted to Associate Partner. Dan Slagle, Jennifer Gilbert and Tiffany Robinson-Long were promoted to Senior Associate. Fernando Flores and James Moore were promoted to Associate. Historic Design Review Commission Approves Alamodome Renovations
The Turner/Marmon Mok/Populous schematic design package has been approved by the HDRC to move forward with the design of the renovations of the Alamodome. 07-01-2015
Anniversary Toast Honoring Long-Term Employees
Marmon Mok celebrated our long-term employees with an anniversary toast and honored Bibi Nunez (40 years) and Jackie Ellison (25 years) for their many contributions to the firm. Toasts were also given to Shawn Bacon (23 years), Hervey Cervantes (23 years), Cyndi Felts (22 years), Rob Sipes (22 years), John DeLeon (21 years) and Larry Schmidt (21 years). Tobin Center receives Golden Trowel Awards
During the San Antonio Masonry Contractors Association Golden Trowel Awards ceremony, The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts project received an Honorable Mention in the Restoration category and the Veterans Memorial Portal received an Honorable Mention in the Hardscape/Landscape category. 06-12-2015
San Antonio Sports Corporate Cup 2015
This weekend Marmon Mok participated in the San Antonio Sports Corporate Cup 2015. We really enjoyed a day of team spirit and healthy fun participating in tug of war, dodgeball, basketball, football kick, golf, swimming and much more. Go team! 06-01-2015
Dedication Ceremony for the San Antonio Public Library Teen Center
The Teen Center at the San Antonio Central Library is now open to the public. Marmon Mok designed a space that creates an inviting atmosphere that will inspire the next generation to promote reading and multi-media education.

Northside ISD Sports Gym Groundbreaking
Marmon Mok was excited to break ground on the new Northside ISD Sports Gym at the Farris Athletic Complex. The 2,500 seat, 88,400 SF venue will be more than three times the size of Paul Taylor, NISD’s first gymnasium which was designed by Marmon Mok in 1976.

The Tobin Center Wins Best in Commercial Real Estate Award
The Tobin Center received top honors for the project with the most “Community Impact” in the San Antonio Business Journal Best in Commercial Real Estate awards program. From opening day, September 4, 2014, through the first four months of operation the building was used for over 250 public events, 170 performances, and 84 public events; sold over 150,000 tickets; and greeted more than 15,000 students for special children’s performances.
